Johanna Taylor is a behaviour analyst, education consultant and the founder of Taylor Behavioural. Beginning in the Early Intensive Behaviour Intervention (EIBI) space, she has extensive experience supporting early childhood learners and their families access quality ABA based supports. In addition, she has supported primary aged learners with a diverse range of learning needs particularly autistic children. Johanna has led teams of teachers and therapists in the development and implementation of individualised and small group curriculum in both inclusive mainstream and specialist settings for well over a decade.

Throughout her work, Johanna seeks to ensure that the dynamics of the family, the learning environments and the systems that support learning are carefully considered while allowing the needs of the child to remain at the core. Johanna has completed a Master in Education (Special Education, Learning Intervention and Inclusion) from the University of Melbourne (First Class Honours) and is currently a PhD candidate at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education where she is among the inaugural scholarship holders of the Melbourne Disability Institute. Her PhD focus is a pilot of a first response protocol for autistic students showing early signs of school refusal. She and her husband live on the Mornington Peninsula with their three children.
